It's been awhile

I't been awhile since I posted. I forgot that blogs usually need to be updated. Not to much has happened lately. I got Jackson's 1 year pictures back and I love them all. My latest project is printing out pictures we've had taken and getting frames to hang them up in. We've been in our house for almost 3 years and I feel like the halls are boring. Bare white walls with nothing on them. So my goal is to start decorating more.

We went to Ikea the other day and found an entertainment center and King bed that we like. Hopefully we'll be able to get those sometime soon! We mainly wanted to get a king since Jackson was sharing our bed w/ us, but now that he's in his own crib we really don't NEED it, but we do need a bed frame so we might as well upgrade the whole thing.

Jackson has been a little stinker lately! He's in the tantrum stage right now and he's also teething (molars) so that's a double whammy. He likes to push my buttons...but other than that he is doing great! He'll be 14 months old on the 26th of this month. He's a great eater, great walker, and he loves giving hugs(which I LOVE).

Lastly, I got a new toy! I won some $$ in Vegas, so we used that towards a new camera. We got the Nikon 3100 and I love it! I'm still learning how to use the camera but the quality of the picture is so much better!

Sneak Peek!

Playdates

Jackson and I had a playdate on Friday! It was pretty fun. A couple friends of mine have a good amount of mommy friends so once a month we get together and let the babies play together. The babies range from 6 weeks-3 years old. Jackson likes playing and (sometimes) sharing w/ his friends!

Housework

Okay, so today Billy asked me to clean up the house a bit. There's really not alot that I need to do. Sweep the tile, clean the kitchen, vacuum the living area...so why is it so hard to do?! I did the dishes and pretty much cleaned the kitchen, but since I am going to be cooking dinner late tonight I don't want to make the kitchen all pretty until after dinner. Now it would probably only take me about 15 minutes to do everything else, but here I sit on the couch, watching Law&Order and blogging. Jackson is busy pushing around the kitchen chairs....Billy will be home in about an hour. I guess it is time to get everything done. Stay tuned...

I decided to start this blog to keep friends and family updated on my life. I don't have to many interesting things going on and I will probably post alot about Jackson, seeing as I spend about 99% of my time with him! Stay tuned...
